Polyfuse is a water soluble paper that not only gives you a great adhesive medium to preshape your applique pieces around, it's also acid free and water soluble, so you don't need to remove it!
It stays in your work, will break down over time, gives stability to your shapes and teamed up with a glue pen, and you will cut your applique time in half.
